It's Good Friday, and that means no music, no dancing—but not at Hirscheneck, because Tales of Wrath is defying the Catholic Church's ban on dancing and reviving the death metal underground with Excarnated Entity, Intellect Devourer, and Ascendency.
Though the ban on dancing still exists in some parts of Switzerland, this isn't the case in Basel. For Excarnated Entity and Ascendency, the performance is part of their first European tour—and for Intellect Devourer, it's their first performance in twelve years. An evening for lovers of the underground.
